December Nights (Fri./Sat.) from 5 to 7pm at One Paseo in Carmel Valley. @Onepaseo
One Paseo will twinkle with festive holiday lights starting on Friday, December 2nd. Our urban village will transform into a Winter Wonderland where guests can enjoy snow cascading from the rooftops, throughout the plaza.
Balboa Park December Nights (Fri. 3 to 11pm & Sat. 11am to 11pm) at Balboa Park 1549 El Prado. @balboapark
The family-friendly event brings San Diegans together to enjoy the lights, the sounds, the attractions and of course, the amazing food. From ballet and banjos to parades and puppetry, the holiday entertainment is top-notch and non-stop. Savor international delicacies, sample homemade treats or sip on something to keep you warm.

Makers Arcade Holiday Fair (Sat. & Sun.) from 10am to 5pm at the Broadway Pier in Downtown, San Diego. @makersarcade
This exciting holiday event will feature more than 100 makers, craft cocktails, beer, gourmet food trucks, live music, photo trailers, styled lounges, door favors, and more! Tickets $7 at the door and include access to the event, live music performances, make-and-take stations, photo booths, and more. Kids under 10 are free!
Wild Winter (Sat. & Sun.) from 9am to 1pm at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. $60 for a group of four. Register here. @hwac

Encinitas Holiday Parade at 5:30pm on Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas, CA. @cityofencinitas
Parade will run on the 101 from D Street to J Street. It is preceded by a 5:00 PM tree lighting ceremony with a brief appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard Shops courtyard (between H and I Street on the east side of 101).

La Jolla Christmas Parade and Holiday Festival 11:30am on Wall Street and parade begins at 1:30pm at Kline and Girard. @ljparade
A wonderful Christmas parade lures people from all around to the sidewalks of downtown La Jolla. You’ll see floats, marching bands, community groups, drill teams, vintage vehicles, horses, and yes ~ a camel. Church bells peal with a fly-over. There is also a holiday festival and tree Lighting Ceremony.
