Home Sales, Prices Remain Steady; Housing Inventory Low
As we near the end of the fourth quarter for 2021, homes sold has been decreasing in north county coastal San Diego (Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Solana Beach, Cardiff, & Encinitas real estate market) We saw 179 homes sold in September, 165 in October, and 150 in November. As we close out the year, there may be a push to purchase for tax purposes.
For the month of November, the median sale price for all homes sold was $1,630,000 with an average of 24 days on real estate market. Of the homes sold in north county coastal San Diego last month, 78 of those were detached properties or single family homes and 72 were attached (condo, townhome, etc.).
Looking back to October, the median sale price was $1,750,000, so we did see a bit of a drop in price for November, but not much.
Here is my San Diego Real Estate market update for November 2021.
