Some mornings, I wake up and just need a good breakfast. Most mornings are packed full of those other life things like getting my kiddo ready for school, checking in with my intentions, and diving into work. I’m sure you can relate.
If you’re busy like me, this list is going to be perfect for you. Here’s a list of the best breakfast hotspots in San Diego!
Best Breakfast Spots in San Diego
Stratford Court Cafe in Del Mar on 13th and Stratford. My personal neighborhood favorite for the past 15 years. Super low-key, great food, family owned and run; can’t go wrong. Plus, it’s right in the heart of Del Mar Village with shops and fun nearby.
Snooze, An AM Eatery in Carmel Valley at the fabulous Del Mar Highlands Town Center off Del Mar Heights & El Camino Real. It’s super easy to order pickup and it’s always busy,, so you know it’s good.
Madeleine Cafe and Bakery on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach is delish and you can sip a cappuccino watch folks stroll Cedros Ave.
St. Tropez Bistro in Encinitas has been around for years and I’ve never had a bad meal. Sit in the sunshine and enjoy tasty treats.
Kono’s Cafe in Pacific Beach has been a favorite for about 20 years. Walk up ordering, ocean view seating. Great food and atmosphere.
Girard Gourmet on Girard Avenue in La Jolla Village has been a neighborhood favorite for 30 years. They “cook and bake in the European tradition” and grow many of our fruits and vegetables in their organic garden in Julian, CA. Stop in for a cookie or a meal.
The Breakfast Bitch in Hillcrest has a great brunch menu and chill vibe. Something for any type of bitch out there:)
