The Woodbridge community in Irvine, CA offers a wealth of resort-like amenities.
Development of this planned community began in 1975 by the Irvine Company. Woodbridge spans a little over 2.5 miles and includes several elementary schools, two middle schools, and Woodbridge High School. Woodbridge has two main sections, North Lake and South Lake. As the name states, each segment has its own lake for residents to enjoy with a beautiful wood bridge connecting the two; hence the name Woodbridge. The community is situated between Irvine Center Drive to the I-405 freeway between Culver Drive and Jeffrey Road. The main road is Yale Loop and most of the homes are of New England Cape Cod style.
As mentioned, there are two, gorgeous landmark lakes with docks and boat rentals, two beach lagoons (South Lake Beach Club & Blue Lake Swim Club), multiple parks with playgrounds, 22 swimming pools, 16 spas, 23 tennis courts, four pickleball courts, a splash pad, horseshoe and shuffleboard facilities, basketball, volleyball, and bocce ball courts, walking and biking paths, and a plethora of year round activities. The location can’t be beat with easy access to freeways, shopping, UC Irvine and a short drive to beaches.
